Yesterday, the Omni Adolescents had fun playing in the snow. We are excited about the upcoming snow storm and can't wait to go sledding and snowman building. We hope more snow will come to Charlotte!
This past few days we have had snow days, but the Omni Adolescents are ready to work after the long eight day weekend. Some are happy about the weather, and others want it to be much warmer. The cold temperature have made it hard for the adolescents to tend to their animals and their garden. We hope the animals live through the harsh conditions!
As some may not know, the Omni Adolescents have bees at the Land Lab. They are currently located at the front of the property, and, supported by the Mecklenburg Bee Association, we are expecting to harvest honey in May. Above, the bees are eating a winter syrup of sugar and water. We hope they survive the winter and produce lots of honey for us!
