The 7th and 8th grade adolescents are back from New York! Even though the trip is over for them, they made a lot of memories while they were there. Many of the adolescents have made many of friends during MMUN, and are still keeping in touch. Not only did the adolescents make friends during MMUN, but they also did some amazing site seeing in the city. Going to the MOMA (Museum Of Modern Art), The Federal Reserve Bank, where we got to see gold bars, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and The Empire State Building. The trip to New York was amazing, but the students are now ready to get back to work.
These past few months, the 7th and 8th grade students have been preparing for their big trip to New York, where they will be participating in MMUN, which is the Montessori Model United Nations. They will not only be doing MMUN, but they will also be sightseeing during the trip. The students will be getting ready to leave on Monday and they are ready to go to the Big Apple!
Today, the Omni Adolescents are putting on a coffee house for the community. There will be a show case of some students' artwork and some music/poetic performances. We hope you can stop by and see our performances, as well as our artwork. The coffee house will be at the Waxhaw Women's Club, 200 East South Main Street, Waxhaw, NC 28173, at 6:30 tonight. See you there!
