This month, the Omni Adolescents have been researching different explorers in our Exploration and Colonization class. We have been preparing ourselves for presentations on Thursday and have been working hard finding information about our explorers, what they did, who they did it with, why they did it, and much more. Here, Mr. Matt Cobb is portraying Lewis and Clarke, and the students are building forts, as they did on their exploration of the New World. We are excited to present and hope all goes well!
This month, the 9th graders have dissected many different animals in our Biology class. We have dissected anemones, squids, starfish, sea cucumbers, and sharks, representing Cnidaria, Mollusca, Echinodermata, and Chordata. After each dissection, we write a short lab with questions and charts we fill out. Next week we will dissect a pig, and we cannot wait!
